The stage
28° Stage: from Lucca to Altopascio
A very flat stage, long stretches with asphalted roads and town streets. At the start we are in the center of Lucca where obviously we can find everything we need, from ATMs to pharmacies, breakfast bars and all kinds of shop.
Leaving from Lucca, you go to Capannori. Pay attention to the crossings with Via della Madonnina and the Strada Statale Romana. After Capannori, a small stretch outside the city you arrive in Porcari and Turchetto. After Turchetto another small stretch of the city before reaching Altopascio.
